In September 2026, NESSEN New Garden (Kunming) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. completed two major industry events in a row. We exhibited at an external trade fair and hosted our own on-site show, presenting our growing strength and quality products, and bringing overseas breeders and local growers together for in-depth exchange.

From September 18 to 20, the 24th China Kunming International Flower Expo (IFEX) was held at the Kunming Dianchi International Convention and Exhibition Centre. We showcased lisianthus seedlings, lisianthus cut flowers, Nessen strawberries, paper pots and more, drawing large numbers of visitors and industry customers.

At the show, we featured red 606 "Hongluan" lisianthus in a cascading waterfall arrangement, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere. The spiraling upward design symbolizes the journey from seed to seedling to bloom — reflecting our belief, held since our founding in 1996, in growing as a friend of time. The striking display quickly became a popular photo spot.

We set up two main zones. The seedling zone combined our company profile with actual products — seedlings, paper pots, and growing substrate. The strawberry zone recreated a 1:1 elevated-bench greenhouse setup. Together, they gave visitors an immersive look at our growing capability. Our giant "eye-catching" paper bags were a hit — you could see them carried around the entire venue.

On September 20, we hosted an international delegation from the flower expo at our Songming Farm, bringing our lisianthus and strawberries into the international spotlight.

From September 21 to 22, our annual Autumn Lisianthus Variety Show took place at Songming Farm. We presented 324 cut-flower varieties to local growers and representatives from overseas breeding companies.

At the show, our sales team shared first-hand market data on pricing, planting cycles, and color preferences, and introduced new varieties for the coming season with detailed insights on flower form and color. We also held a lucky draw — 88 prize packs delivered seedling discounts and practical gifts to growers.

On the evening of September 21, we hosted a Breeders' Night reception. Representatives from Toa, Evanthia, Kaneko, Miyoshi, Sakata, Takii, and Sumika joined us for wide-ranging discussions on lisianthus varieties and global markets. Three Yunnan flower industry experts also gave specialized talks. During the event, we appointed four outstanding growers as cultivation advisors for our lisianthus cut-flower business.

These two back-to-back events closed the loop between "showcasing at the exhibition and evaluating varieties at the farm," building an efficient bridge between breeders and growers. Rooted in Yunnan's core flower-producing region, we continue to connect global resources through variety showcases and industry exchanges, driving high-quality development in the lisianthus seedling industry.
